Even though there are almost one hundred producers, the majority of them are small and mediun sized enterprises except Kingenta, Hanfeng Group, Summit Fertilizer Co., Ltd etc. SRFs/CRFs production requires sophisticated technology and high cost, thus the product quality is uneven. SRFs/CRFs only accounts for about 1% of the national fertilizer market share. They are mainly used in field crops farming.
Since 2008, the Chinese government has successively issued industrial standards of main categories of SRFs/CRFs products and has been establishing pilot sites nationwide. In early 2013, Ministry of Agriculture for the first time put forward the idea of subsidies for efficient SRFs/CRFs consumption.
In addition, with the speeding up of rural land circulation, expansion of farming scale and improving of agricultural industrialization degree, the demand for high-quality SRFs/CRFs will emerge rapid increase and huge market potential.
This report will answer the following questions about China SRFs/CRFs market:
